Final
Testing:
With the cooling kit firmly installed on our X850XTPE, we were ready to
give it a try. Here are the final results with the card undergoing
looped benchmarks in Half Life 2 and Doom 3.

Needless to say, the Kingwin KWVC-3 made a huge difference! Now the
video card is 100% stable through hour of gaming and benchmarking.

Conclusion:
To
be totally honest, I really love the cooling kit, but once I installed
the fans I was really turned off. However, if I had know that I was
going to have a bit of a problem installing the fans before I had
started, it wouldn't have been a very big deal because I would have had
the hot glue gun or maybe some larger screws standing by. Keep in mind
that you also have the fan free option. However I would be sure to use
some kind of cooling fan for extremely hot video cards like the
X850XTPE. So if I had to do it all over again, would I use this kit?
Yes, but I would be better prepared. Would I recommend this kit to a
friend? Yes, but again I would warn them of possible fan installation
problems and let them know how to correct the problem. As for judging
the quality of this kit, it's really tough to do. While 90% of the kit
is flawless, the fan installation part really puts a dent in quality.
Still, I can't kill the rating because the problem can be corrected
quite easily or you can choose not to run fans at all. Then we have the
incredible bargain price of only $24.99. This alone makes me forget that
I had any problems with the kit what so ever...
