Packaging and Contents

The card comes very well packaged.  It's protected on all sides by the cardboard container that it sets in and is wrapped in a protective, bubble wrap baggy.

The card comes with a DVI-I to D-Sub adapter, installation guide, driver disk, S-video break out cable, S-video cable, and the power adapter cable.

Layout

The layout is pretty standard.  You can see that ATI chose to use a unique heatsink and fan on the X1950GT's.  We'll dissect that later.  Because of the strange cooling apparatus, the card will take up two slots.

The X1950GT does not come with two DVI ports like most of the video cards we are used to seeing.  Instead,  it comes with one DVI and one standard VGA port.

The  X1950GT is just a tad larger than the 7900GT.
