Packaging

As
far as packaging goes, Connect3D has never been famous for their fancy
boxes, but they have always given us everything we need and then some.

Here we see the card,
cables, DVI adapters, CrossFire adapter, and software.
Up Close

The X1950 Pro is
a fairly massive video card and is quite heavy from the large heatsink
that stretches from nearly end to end. Cooling these high power video
cards has always been a problem but it looks like Connect3D has the
X1950 Pro covered.

Connect3D is using a blower style fan
to blow air through the copper heatsink.

The X1950 Pro had dual monitor
capabilities with twin DVI outputs.

Here we have
another angle of the massive copper heatsink. Notice how the heatsink is
ported to force air through the heatsink fins.

Here we have one
more angle of the heatsink. In this photo you can see the external power
connector at the end of the PCB. Keep in mind that this card requires at
least a 450w power supply and at least a 550w PSU for CrossFire
configuration.

Here we see the back side of the video
card. Nothing special to see here except for the heatsink mounting
bracket.
