Packaging and Layout

The Connect3D X1300Pro came packaged in a compact retail box that included the card, an S-Video to coax adapter cable, a driver CD, and an installation guide.  The driver CD included outdated catalyst drivers and the full version of Tenomichi's 3DEdit silver.  The package did not contain a DVI to VGA converter.  I'm used to seeing these converters with the card, so if you plan on running dual monitors you'll have to find one on your own.  I can only assume that this was left off to keep the cost down.

The card layout is pretty standard.  You can tell from the small heatsink and fan that this card isn't designed for serious gaming.  The card has no requirement for an additional power connector from the power supply.  Based on the power requirements and the smaller size of the card, this card would be perfect for a small form factor case.

The X1300Pro has a VGA, S-video and DVI outputs.  Again, dual monitors are possible if you provide the DVI-analog converter.
