Box of Goodies

Like most graphics cards, the X1900 XTX comes with all the cables and adapters you could possibly need. Of course you also get the handy User's Manual and drivers disk. Now comes the bonus...software! Gigabyte boasts they have included $190 worth of extra software including titles like Cyberlink Power Director, XR xpand rally. It's not exactly top titles like Quake 4 or Battlefield 2, but anything free is welcome!

Up Close

Gigabyte gives you dual monitor support, a feature that once you try you'll never go back. It's nice to be able to play a game on one monitor while keeping programs such as Messenger and Ventrilo running on the other monitor. Web and graphics editing is also much easier to perform with two monitors.

One downfall of the X1900 XTS is it's massive size. This card will take up 2 slots due to the huge copper heatsink and fan. Copper is also very heavy so make sure this video card secured inside your case.

At this angle, you can clearly see the solid copper heatsink and air intake port. ATi also added a thin aluminum heatsink for extra cooling.

Cooling is extremely important with the X1900 XTX so make sure that noting inside your case impedes air flow. Another downfall is the cooling system is fairly loud for a GPU cooler. As for me, I'll be switching over to a water block in the near future for silent cooling.
