Lets face it, Overclockers are not the type of people that can leave well enough alone when it comes to our PCs.  If we were, we would all be using factory built boxes.  It seems I am constantly tweaking something to get it faster, quieter or just better looking.  7zoneUSA understands this Do-it-Yourself mentality well.  Today I will be taking a look at a wide variety of DIY tools and toys from their new product line guaranteed to make the job easier and your High-end PC quieter.  Lets get started!

7zoneUSA has been making DIY PC parts and tools since 1989.  With their recent partnership with NewEgg, 7zoneUSA parts are now readily available worldwide.  This means finding the perfect part or tool no longer requires an exhaustive internet search.  7zoneUSA even stocks some kits to help you with projects like silencing your noisy performance PC.

High-quality, modern design and excellent service are the images what 7zoneUSA brings to it's customers. 7zoneUSA creates and designs a wide variety of Cooling Device & Computer Cases every year, and is a leader in market trends. Our highly qualified design engineers work tirelessly to ensure the best possible solution in meeting the demands of an ever growing technology market. Our research & development team take pride in their ability to meet our customers' needs, with state of the art technology for the present, and powerful new products for our customers future needs. -7zoneUSA

7zoneUSA divides their products across about 7 different product lines.  With 7zoneUSA offering to design and support tools for OEM/ODM partners, their product line will continue to grow.

Today I will be putting the 7zone USA parts to the test while building a new gaming rig for reviews.  The build consists of a Connect 3d X1900 XTX video card, a Vantec PCI-E eSATA card, 2x 1GB OCZ Gold XTC DDR, and a AMD Athlon 4600+ processor cooled by an Antazone AS-C1000 cooler all mounted on my ABIT AW8D motherboard.  The rest of the build consists of 2 x Western Digital 74 GB Raptors in a RAID0 array, a Seagate 750 GB drive and a Plextor PX-755SA DVD burner powered by an Antec Truepower Trio 650 power supply all mounted in an NZXT Apollo chassis.

DIY-OT06 Keytop PC Keyboard Tool

  • Plug-off the key from PC standard keyboard
  • User can change the single key of PC keyboard

Before we get started with the new build, I took the opportunity to use the Keytop tool on one of my filthy old Microsoft keyboards.  The Keytop tool is designed to allow for the easy removal of a single key from your keyboard for repair or cleaning.  As you can see from the pictures above, my keyboard has seen better days.  Many nights of hard work and gaming have resulted in a layer of dirt and dust I never expected to be able to recover from.  Using the Keytop tool I was able to remove each key for cleaning or repair.  Simply snap the tool down over each key and gently lift away to remove. It is just that easy.  Now if only 7zoneUSA would put out a washer for these old keys!  I wonder if the dishwasher will do the trick...
