We have been looking at some extremely high performance RAM for the last few weeks, and we have seen some amazing bus speeds.  Pushing as far as 300MHz FSB and almost getting the memory to run stable at DDR600 speeds.  That's just freakin awesome.  Performance has been the driving factor for overclocking for as long as I can remember.  But, performance isn't everything.  It's almost everything, but when you first set your box up at a LAN party the first thing people notice is the way it looks.  What would be even better than that, would be to have something that improved your cases looks and had a function as well.  That's what Vantec has come up with here.  The Vantec Nexus NXP-305 is a fan and light controller.  With this unit you can control up to three fans and two neon lights.

Contents

Nexus does a pretty good job of packaging the NXP-305.  They include everything you'll need, except the tools.  You get the control unit, 2 neon lights, and plenty of extension cords.

Installation

For this product I wanted to do something a little different.  I gave my son the box and said, "put it in."  Although, my son has been doing small mods like this probably longer than most people, he is still only 11yrs old.  I stood back with the camera and just took pictures.  On the following page, there is going to be a simple step-by-step photo guide for installation.
