One of the biggest
mistakes I see from people building their computer, is the lack of
thought put into the power supply. It seems like it's the last
thing they buy and usually they just go buy the cheapest 450 or 500 watt
power supply that they can find. Then if they are lucky, that
power supply will last them a week or so and then they'll have to go get
a new one. This doesn't mean that you have to go out and drop $500
on the latest 1000watt power supply, but it means that you do need to
look for a quality power supply and not a cheapo. Spire sent us
over their latest and greatest 600w power supply so let's take a look at
it and see how it stacks up.
