Packaging and Contents

The Sigma Shark comes
very well packaged. The unit itself is protected with bubble
wrap and the cables and power cord are neatly tucked in the box.

The Shark is not a $300
power supply, so don't expect some fancy leather pouch to store your
extra cables in or a diamond encrusted power cord. What you
get is what you need, the power supply with all of the cables
hard-wired to the unit, a power cord and four screws to hold the
unit in your case. There really isn't anything else you would
need.
A closer look

The solid black, all
aluminum case is very nice. This just doesn't feel like your
run of the mill power supply made out of pot metal.

The Shark has two 80mm
blue LED fans to keep things cool. Normally, one 120mm fan
would be preferred because the larger fan can move more air at a
lower RPM and keep the noise level nice and low. However, the
two 80mm fans are surprisingly quiet. The fans are temperature
controlled and have a max speed of 2100RPM and best of all they
don't put off much noise. They are rated at 16dB @ 1200RPM.
