Load: vCore

vCore is probably the single most dynamic
on the motherboard. It's designed to fluctuate to accommodate the various energy
saving states that Intel has implemented into the CPU and the X58 chipset
itself. However, the power supply has to be able to withstand these fluctuations
and be able to recover accordingly. Yes, the motherboard's own MOSFET rectifiers
will weather the brunt of that storm, but those MOSFETS get their power from
somewhere, and that power source has to be rock solid.

There isn't much to say about the fan that Enermax ships with
the Revolution85+ other than it's a 120mm LED fan with a
push-button switch lets you switch between many different flash
and strobe modes. If nothing else, its an extra 120mm fan to
leave in the closet for those Just In Case kind of moments.
Conclusion....
For some folks, brand loyalty is a way of
life when buying retail. So if their brand is Enermax then they are in for a
real treat with this power supply. If not, then perhaps it's time to give
Enermax a try. The Revolution85+ is backed by a 5-year warranty and is covered
by a customer service crew that cares about their product.
