By now, we've used every
line we could think of to stress the importance of using a high
quality power supply in your rig. Seriously, short of throwing your
entire computer into a pool of acid, there just isn't a quicker way
to damage or even destroy your hardware than to power it
with a poorly built power supply.
With so much riding on a single piece of equipment, we like to approach
lesser known PSU manufacturers with caution.

The last power supply from Tuniq that looked at here at ClubOC was called the Ensemble which was a 1200 watt
unit. The only drawback the Ensemble really has is its physical
size. Tuniq has split the difference between capacity and size with
the Miniplant. The Miniplant delivers up to 950 watts of power and
does it with the footprint of a standard ATX power supply.

Don't get the idea that the Miniplant skimps on features. Aside from having a 950 Wats power
capacity, the unit is still tagged with an "80+" power efficiency
rating and is stacked with "all kinds" of power protection. Those
acronyms expand out to OCC=Over Current Protection, OVP=Over Voltage
Protection, SCP=Short Circuit Protection, OPP=Over Power Protection.
Made with high quality components, the Active Power Factor
Correction will ensure solid operation when performing under near
maximum loads.
