Installation of the Miniplant is as straight forward as any other power supply. Tuniq
has even taken the care to label some of the more confusing and
specialized cables. Now even a novice won't have to wonder if that odd
looking 6 pin cable is for 12 volt accessory (CPU) power or for your
PCI Express card.
The Miniplant's four +12 volt rails are
rated to deliver a combined 810 watts. As we'll see in a moment, these 20 Amp rails
proved more
than enough to supply a pair of 280GTX Video cards in an SLI
configuration.

The Miniplant is truly an
outstanding choice for people who wish to build their PC is a
mid-tower size enclosure such as an Antec Nine Hundred. Here we can
see the Miniplant fully installed in the Nine Hundred before any
cable management was done whatsoever. As you can see there is still
plenty of space available. Space that would otherwise be taken by
the chassis of other larger power supplies.
