The layout of the 865 is much like its big brother the 875, but its missing a few SATA headers. Notice the ATX power header is located far away from the CPU.. I sure wish Foxconn would give us some BIOS options because my instincts tell me this board could cook when overclocked..

Unfortunately changing the memory does require AGP removal, but the clip is a nice touch...

A SATA cable and SATA PSU converter is a nice gesture included in the Foxconn bundle. Sadly nothing other than drivers were part of the package.. however this does make the price of the board well under $100 which is a lot cheaper than most 865 PE boards the last time I checked on street prices.

Included with the Foxconn board is 4 USB 2.0 ports, NIC, firewire, and onboard sound. The NIC is a Intel Pro 100/1000 which is a ncie touch.. last time I checked the Intel Gigabit LAN cards were around $100, but it comes standard on this board...

Lots of stuff here... more firewire, sound 'n stuff that most of you may use..:)

A TIM is used for cooling the NB.. the NB cooler is passive but is of fairly good size.. BRING FORTH THE HIGH FSB!! Darn...
