Features Continued

The BIOS of the Foxconn is based on the Award BIOS of many of our favorite motherboards. It is a little bit different in the respect that it has the Foxconn/Winfast SuperBIOS feature, but it is more or less functionally identical. Some of the main features are its RAID functionality, Voltage, and overclocking options.

The SuperBIOS option is accessed through the main BIOS menu by simply pressing the delete key upon POST. Highlighting where you want to go then pressing enter takes you to another screen where you can adjust your CPU multiplier, speed, PCI lock, etc.

Voltage options are accessed through the main menu also and not the SuperBIOS. We were pleased with the options, although with the exception of vcore they are small in comparison to other boards using this chipset.

Also through the main menu is the advanced chipset menu. Here you can adjust the HTT frequency which is critical for higher CPU frequency.

Memory adjustments such as CAS latency are also made through the advanced chipset menu.

Here are the RAID options.
