Foxconn NF4SLI7AA - 8EKRS2 Motherboard Review

The install:

I installed the NF4SLI7AA into my NZXT Lexa case.  On the motherboard I installed a Gig kit of Crucial Ballistix Tracer RAM, two Nvidia 7800 GT video cards from BFG and EVGA and a Pentium D 940 processor.  The install also included two Western Digital Raptor 74 drives, a Lite-on DVD burner, and a NZXT 500 Watt PSU provided power.

The NF4SLI7AA - AEKRS2 comes with this handy installation poster.  I can't stress enough how helpful this is.  Even a seasoned DIY guy like myself can easily spot key connectors and jumper settings.

The back even walks you through some basic BIOS setup and the included software installation.  Who needs a stinking manual now??

Here we see the bare motherboard installed.  The red really stands out in contrast to the black cabling and steel construction.

After installing the components things look a bit more cluttered. all that's left to do is find a stray 12 V to plug into that center plug.

Here is a picture of the completed system all lit up.  I still need to find a 12 V run..  Maybe I can buy a nice extension?

Not too bad.  Just need to add some aftermarket cooling and clean up the cable runs a bit!
