Installation and Conclusion

Installation is fairly basic. Sunbeam actually bothered to include a set of instructions on where and how to install the kit. The connection are all proprietary in their function so you really cant do anything wrong. I must mention that it is a good idea to turn your PC off during installation, failure to do so could cause damage to your PC's power supply. All of the connections on the kit have their own connections so the light basically plugs into the regulator/controller, the controller/regulator plugs into 12vdc and the switch is wired directly into the the regulator/controller. I chose to mount my light directly above my existing green cathode. I thought it was pretty cool that the green part of the light matched that of my existing green cathode upon the first try.

Overall I think the light looks gorgeous nesting in my case, especially with the existing light.. it almost looks pink but with a green hue. I had no problems at all with this Sunbeam product but i have had problems with other competitors lights, mostly with overall construction and features. I have purchased cathodes before and I have never seen one that comes so complete overall. The Sunbeam Multi-Colored Cold Cathode Light Kit is definitely ClubOC recommended!

Here are some pics for your enjoyment, so until next time, ciao!
