The Corsair HX620 Continued:

The top of the HX620 is dominated by a black and red 120 mm thermal controlled fan.  The combination of the ball bearing design and the rapid rpm response to temperature variations are what keep the noise level to a minimum during operation.

The same black and red theme plays out across the rest of the unit.  The rest of the power supply is refreshingly free of all that extra labeling.  The finish is done in a black anodized coat and matched by the black cable sleeving.  This unit is just begging for a black and red themed case.

From the back you can get a closer look at the attached cabling and the simple modular locking sockets used for the rest of the cable runs.

And here is the obligatory label shot.  This sticker is tucked away on the top of the unit where it will be hidden from view in most installations.  Once again, I have to give props to the use of 600 Watts of managed power on the three +12V rails.  Awesome.

The HX620 has gone with mesh across the back surface instead of another noisy 80 mm fan.  The centrally located power socket and switch allow Corsair to place a label where it can be seen from the back.
