Test System

For this review I'll be using ABIT's AA8 DuraMAX motherboard which is based on Intel's 925X Express chipset.

Hardware Model
Motherboard: ABIT AA8 DuraMAX
CPU: Intel Pentium 4
3.4GHz (800MHz)
LGA-775
Video Card: ATi X850XT PE
Memory: OCZ Gold Edition
PC2-4200 DDR2

Testing - SiSoft Sandra

Benchmarking will be accomplished by using SiSoft Sandra. As far as performance settings go, it just doesn't get any better than the ABIT AA8. Besides the normal bus speed locks, the AA8 has a CPU to Memory ratio setting that works incredibly well. I'll start out at a ratio of 1:1 and work my way up to 3:4.

DDR 533 (CPU/Memory Ratio of 3:4) - 200MHz FSB / DEFAULT CPU SPEED
