Today we conclude our series of DDR-2 memory tests on the EVGA 680i SLI
motherboard by testing Mushkin's new Extreme Performance XP2-8500 2Gb
Memory Kit (2 x 1Gb) with 5-5-4-12 timings. These are very quick latency
timings for memory running at 1066MHz. With such a high rating will
Mushkin's XP2-8500 beat our previously established records? Is there any
chance this memory will go any faster than 1066MHz? I'm eager to find
out so let's get to it!

Specifications
Part Numbers

Mushkin XP memory comes with heatspreaders, but they are not gold or
platinum plated with fancy holographic logos. All that fancy stuff is
just expensive eye candy that doesn't help the performance of the
memory. Mushkin tends to stick with a concept that works - concentrate
on PERFORMANCE.
