Crucial System Scanner

Out of the box experience...

The Elixir keyboard comes in a nice looking box with standard keyboard packaging. Nothing fancy here as it appears that OCZ is trying to keep the costs of this keyboard down to make it more appealing to the average gamer.

The Elixir comes with a drivers disk, directions and even spare keys. I'm not sure that the spare keys will ever be used or needed, however they may come in handy. The extra keys included are the A, S, D, W, arrow keys, space bar, and shift keys. These keys are the common gaming keys on pretty much every game ever made. Its pretty common to wear the letters off of each of those common keys so having spares is a very nice bonus.

The keyboard layout is pretty standard with the exception of the multimedia buttons and 10 special programmable keys on each side of the keyboard. They are nicely placed out of the way, but are very eye catching with the contrasting color making them very easy to find.

Not to skip the back of the keyboard, the Elixir has the standard keyboard props and rubber pads seen on pretty much every keyboard made. Nothing out of the ordinary here.
