Folks don't normally associate product innovation with the smaller every-day items like the mouse. With all the cutting edge technology that has gone into making them ergonomically shaped, more accurate, and even wireless it doesn't seem like there is much left to do to that simple pointing/input device. Going back to the very first review I did for Club Overclocker, the Mouse Bungee was almost a laughed at item because it was so different. Given half a chance, the Mouse Bungee really serves a purpose because before it came along I was taping wires to the side of my desk.

Nearly all the major hardware manufacturers have made their higher-end mouse models in sizes and shapes that conform more naturally to the human hand. In the case of the Logitech MX·700 cordless mouse, there are even moldings in the side of the mouse to rest the thumb and forefingers in to help grip and steady the mouse during movement. With all this thought and effort being put into the shape and style of a mouse, there is still room for improvement and Mouse Grips are the key.

A package of Mouse Grips will have 32 pre-cut pieces of a high quality neoprene material that you can use to place anywhere you want more grip on your mouse. The pre-cut pieces have their own adhesive backing so there will be no messy glue to contend with. Literally just peel it out of the package and stick it onto your mouse. As you can see from the product shot at the beginning of the page, there are many different sizes and shapes of Mouse Grips to choose from in the package. In the pictures above I just used pieces that most closely resembled the areas I want to cover. A trip to the Mouse Grips home page will give you a few more ideas you can use, but you really are only limited by your own imagination. The Mouse Grips make a quick and easy enhancement to give your old mouse a new look and feel. Gamers who spend a lot of time can gain a quick appreciation for the neoprene material as it helps to reduce that sweaty hand feeling and keep your sense feel heightened.
