Mouse
The mouse that comes with the LX-501
is the cordless Click! Optical Mouse which features a 800DPI resolution.
Just like the keyboard the mouse is loaded with features. There are the
standard left and right buttons but in the lower middle of them is another
programmable button that is defaulted to task switch. There is a scroll
wheel in the center of the mouse but don't let it fool you there is a lot more
to it than a simple scroll wheel.
  
Logitech calls it's scroll wheel
technology "Tilt Wheel Plus Zoom" which means exactly what it says.
Instead of just scrolling up and down a document the user can zoom in and scroll
left and right. This is very handy when you are editing photos, you can
zoom and scroll to a specific part without moving your mouse.
  
The Click! mouse also features a
design for both right and left handed people. With 800DPI you won't loose
a beat when gaming with this mouse. Both the keyboard and mouse utilize
2.4GHz connection. Most prefer a wired connection over a wireless but with
the LX-501 and the 2.4GHz connection there is no noticeable lag to deal with.
  
The RF receiver is a see thru black
and has light to indicate connection with the keyboard, caps lock, scroll lock,
and num lock. There is eight feet of cord an it is connected to you
computer through PS/2 connections or a single USB.
The Logitech LX-501 is a wonderful
desktop setup and is one of the best I have seen. With it's high
resolution mouse and 2.4GHz connection the LX-501 is made for everyone from
gamers to novice users. Logitech has showed that it makes products with
