Before we get into RAID, I want to test these 15K.3 hard drives individually first. For testing, I'll be using SiSoft Sandra 2003 Pro, Adaptec's SCSI Benchmark Utility and Hard Drive Tach.

     All three benchmarks show some incredible numbers for a single hard drive. The numbers are even considerably higher than what we received with our Cheetah 10K.6 in an earlier review on the same system shown here.
