The
external drive is fairly compact, it's about the size of a single stack CD
case. Okay, it's not as small as those 1gb flash drives that you can
wear around your next or use as a keychain, but this baby holds 750
gigabytes of digital goodness. The quality and design is top notch. I have no
doubt that this drive could take quite a beating and still keep
functioning.

The
unit comes with a power supply and cables for firewire and USB 2.0. You
even get a handy little stand to hold the drive up vertical.

Tucked neatly in the back
are all the connectors for firewire, USB, and power.

The
front of the drive houses the power button/push button backup. You
simply hold the button down a few seconds to turn the drive off and on
or push it once to
kick on the program that backs up your system. Of course using the device as
a backup drive is totally optional. You can opt to not install the
Seagate BounceBack utility and simply use the external drive for
whatever you like.

One
side of the drive has a large rubber ring as shown in the picture above.
This ring keeps the drives from moving around if used in a stacked
configuration.
