Our old friends at Kingwin have been pretty quiet this long cold winter, but while most of the country is either snowed in or froze over, Kingwin has been secretly developing a new product lineup! Today we take a look at their new Jet series of external hard drive enclosures. Okay, I know we've reviewed about a zillion hard drive enclosures over the years, but Kingwin has something a little different to offer the public. Kingwin has taken the best features seen on hard drive enclosures and crammed them all into the Jet. The version we have here, the JT-35EU-BK, is a Serial ATA hard drive enclosure with pushbutton backup with USB and eSATA interfaces. We've seen about all the external USB hard drive enclosures we can stand, but eSATA is just becoming the new standard. Why you ask? It's simple, it's all about the speed.
