Packaging
and Contents

When you open the box, the
first thing you see is that massive fan.

Once you dig under the
heatsink, you'll find everything you need to install your new heatsink.
A Closer
Look

The Dominator uses three
heatpipes to draw the heat from the CPU up to the 58 finned aluminum
radiator where it is quickly and quietly cooled by the 140mm fan.

The large fan dwarves the
small heatsink that attaches to the CPU.

The base of the small
heatsink is copper. This will help absorb the heat from the CPU
and the aluminum heatpipes will quickly take the heat away.
Installation

Installing the Dominator is
no easy task. The first thing you have to do is completely
disassemble your computer. The motherboard has to come out so you
can install the mounting posts. Believe it or not, but that is the
easy part. Trying to install the heatsink while the mothreboard is
installed is extremely difficult. Getting access to the mounting posts to install the
springs, washers and thumbscrews requires so much dexterity in your
hands that Houdini would have had a hard time.

With my ninja-like ability,
I was able to finally get the Dominator installed, after removing the
video card and disconnecting the main power connector. From the
looks of it though, I'm going to have to completely tear my computer
apart just to change the RAM.
