Packaging and Layout

The Shuttle SD39P2 comes very well packaged.
Unless there is a major shipping accident, the SFF should be safe.
Exterior

The front I/O panel features the reset
button, Mic and Headphone jacks, two USB ports and a Firewire port.

You can see that the SD39P2 has two
expansion slots. You can use these for a PCI-E video card and one other
PCI expansion card, or a PCI-E video card that uses two slots. In
this case, I'll be using the 8800GTS and that will fill both slots.
Also, notice at the top right of the case, you'll see a few
perforations. One looks like a Firewire port and there are a
couple of circles next to that. The top circle is the wireless LAN
perforation. Now the SD39P2 does not come with wireless LAN, but
it's an optional accessory that you can buy and add yourself.

Let's zoom in on the rear I/O panel and take
a look at what's there. Starting from the left is the Clear CMOS
button. This is a real nice feature and eliminates the need to
open the case and clear the jumper. Continuing on you'll see a
Firewire port, 6 USB ports, an eSATA port, Ethernet and all of the audio
ports.
