Specifications Continued...

When I first got the XP4 it had a Whizpro BIOS chip and I was not very happy with what it offered.  It was the most basic BIOS that I had ever seen.  I just figured I was expecting too much from a small form factor computer BIOS.  Iwill decided that they wanted to go with an Award BIOS and sent me a replacement.  The new BIOS chip totally changed my mind on this computer.  This is a fully functioning BIOS complete with support for Hyper-Threading and even includes overclocking options.  Now these options are far from the Overclocker's dream options, but it does have adjustments for Front Side Bus.

The XP4 does include on-board sound.  The Realtek ALC650 gives 6-channel sound.  It is also a full-duplex sound chip that is fully AC97 2.2 compliant.  Iwill puts the standard audio ports on the back of the XP4, but also includes a headphone and mic jack in the front of the XP4.

Realtek also provides the built-in networking capabilities.  Located just above the two USB ports is the 10/100 network port.  Iwill chose the Realtek RTL8100 to provide the full-duplex 10/100.  Putting another Network Card in the PCI slot would make the XP4 a great hardware cable/DSL router and firewall.
