Case layout
The Jupiter has two unique features; the window mod and the LCD panel
in the front. Skyhawk doesn't usually use the same old square or round window,
but they do have some unique designs that sets them apart from the rest.
This window mod is called the Q window

The "Q" design with the clear exhaust fan is another good
window for lighting. You could even replace this fan with one
of the fans with built in neon lights. As for the LCD panel,
is a very unique aspect of this case that you just don't see
anywhere else.

The LCD is backlit with 6 colors. The LCD's default is to
cycle through the colors while there is power. However, you
can pick your favorite color and have it stay on that color.
The LCD displays, time, temperature, power on/off status and
hard drive usage status. The LCD gets it's power through a
passthrough power connector, connected to the main power connector
on the power supply. This also means that the LCD will be on
constantly. The only way to turn the LCD off is to turn of the
power supply or unplug the computer.
The
HDD activity comes from a unique passthrough HDD LED cable.
The temperature is provided to the LCD through an external
temperature probe. There is plenty of length to the probe and
it
can be placed pretty much anywhere.
Bonus
CrazyPC included a bit of a bonus item with the case. I was
not expecting this and it is not mentioned on the page as being
included with the case. Here it is, dragon grill guard! Now
this is sweet!

The first picture is to
show the detail of the grill guard and the second photo is to show
that it is mirrored. It's a very nice addition to the case,
but it does have a problem. Due to the thickness of the grill
guard, the included screws do not fit. They are not long
enough to attach the fan to the side of the case.
Conclusion
The Jupiter case is a very nice case, but I didn't like the intake
or exhaust fan. I also wish the front bezel was solid aluminum like
the rest of the case. An aluminum front bezel would
have been a nice touch... The LCD is a very cool feature, but
it would be nice if it shut off when the system powers down. Or at
least an off switch for the light.
Although the light is not intensely bright, I feel it would get
annoying if it were in your bedroom. That is unless you need a night
light.
Overall, this is a pretty good case for the money. I love the
fact that you can own this very same aluminum case
with the above window mods for only $88! Just don't expect to
get the same quality as a case that costs twice as much such as a Lian-Li or Cooler
Master. But for only $88, you are getting a good deal!
