It's all about the big Q

When it comes to making high quality server chassis, I-STAR has it down. The strength of this case goes beyond what you would expect for the home and into what I would call "industrial" strength. Everything on this case is heavy duty, even the power switch feels like I'm turning on some major piece of industrial equipment.

Once you have your new D-400L built, you can really start to appreciate what it has to offer. In the picture above I've installed a couple removable hard drive bays, a CD burner and a floppy. The floppy really isn't necessary, but I always seem to run into that odd driver that can only be installed on a floppy disk.

Conclusion

Including all the full towers, server cubes, and rack servers that I've reviewed or have played around with, the I-STAR D-400L is by far the best I've seen. The industrial quality is second to none and it's design is flawless. Not only is it flawless on the inside, but the outside as well. The blue metal doors with filters really sets this chassis apart from the other brands. There is even a pair of USB ports in the front so you don't have to slide out the unit to plug in a mouse or keyboard directly. Great job I-STAR, ClubOC is thoroughly impressed!
