On the inside...
As if the quality of the outside wasn't good enough, things just keep getting
better on the inside. The chassis will house pretty much any ATX motherboard up
to 12 x 13", hold up to 7 drive bays and 1 floppy, and still has room left over.
Notice the 3 - 120mm cooling fans. These fans
actually force air through the case. Starting in the front, the cool air is
filtered through the front filters, through the drives, across the motherboard
and out the top of the case.
Looming over the motherboard tray is a reinforcement
bar with card reinforcement tabs. These adjustable tabs help hold large cards in
place such as PCI-X SCSI cards that have several SCSI cable device connections.
Each drive rack is removable for easy access.
Pretty much everything is removable in this case,
even the 120mm cooling fans.
Each fan slides down and snaps into place.
Talk about easy to change out! Pop out the old, snap
in the new...
Each I-STAR D-400L comes with a power supply. This
one came with a nice I-STAR 400w PSU. Nothing fancy, but you don't need flashing
lights and pretty cables in a server. You just want it to work and work
flawlessly.
