Up close...

At first glance, you may think this case is just like any other generic mid tower case. Once again we have a case where the pictures just doesn't do the case any justice. Let's start out with the paint job. The paint is of automotive quality and has a brilliant shine that is unmistakable with a generic case. I like to call this case my first 'Ferrari' due to the Ferrari red paint job. Seriously, this baby just looks fast... Next thing you will notice is that this case is made out of solid steel, not aluminum. Aluminum cases are nice, but sometimes steel it better, and this is one of those times. Steel makes the case heavier, which in turn makes the case quieter. Steel is also a better choice for high quality paint jobs like the one we have here.

The CS-800TA comes with two cover plates for your CD ROMs or burners. This is another instance of a modder's idea transferring over to the case manufacturers. A little lower in the front of the case is where you will find built in media ports; USB 2.0x2, Audio in/out, and IEEE 1394.

So what's that little rectangle box on the right side? Well that's something we discovered after we put the case together. Even Enermax appears to have forgotten it was there in their advertisements. That little square is a lighted digital temperature readout!

The temperature readout has it's own thermal sensor that you can place anywhere inside your case. This is a very cool idea that really adds to the value of this case.
