The Black Widow ships with the usual accessories. The two fast
mounts are shown here; as is the adhesive for mounting the controller unit.

The feet snap on easily. This case is crying for matching lighted
feet!

Dynapower has included an Award 450w power supply with the Black Widow.
With most cases in this price range including a 350w, if at all, the shiny
red PS is a nice addition. It should be mentioned that the PS doesn't
meet the latest
ATX specs but it should handle most common installs.
The install:

We put this case together with the
Foxconn 925XE77A-8EKRS2, Two
Crucial Ballistix PC-4000 512MB sticks, a
Pentium
P4 3.0, a BFG 6600 GT OC, a HP 16X DVD and a Samsung 30GB. As you
can see, there is plenty of room to spare.

Many cases are shipping with tool-less card locks, the Black widow is no
exception. This system proved to be our first snag during the install.

With the BFG Video card, I was unable to get the lock to drop down to its
locking position. The locking system was removed with three screws and
remounted with the card in place. Its hard to plan on every card, but
I was disappointed to resort to a workaround.

Installing the Award PS brings a weakness with the Foxconn design to our
attention. The 24 pin lock would not fit in the space available.
A couple of mods to the lock down with a clipper and everything plays nice.

With the Black Widow powered on, the case lights look sharp. This
case could cause some LAN party whiplash!

The back lights up nice as well. I wonder why they didn't go with
red lights?

The mesh shows the interior lighting without
airing the dirty laundry. The cables almost disappear.
Conclusion:
The
Black Widow blends eye catching looks with the performance features you
would expect from a case twice the price. Dynapower USA has provided a
lot of bang for the buck in this case. It definitely screams Spiderman but
the theme should appeal to non fans with the chrome and the nifty thermal
spider. Serious builders should expect to replace the PS and add
that second 120mm. With a street price around $60, this case stands
out from the crowd.
