I know Antec has a lot riding on a review sample showing up in good shape, but Antec has always gone one step further than the other case manufacturers I work with. Antec's review samples show up double boxed and in perfect condition. I feel that this type of care and pride makes its way down the ranks of Antec, all the way to the person who oversees the final assembly of their products. Antec's pride in their products is easy to see and they have never let me down.

One of the biggest things that annoys me about a new case is that it is almost always scratched up right out of the box. To prevent this from happening Antec applies a self adhesive plastic to their high end cases. I've had many P180 cases (and now the P182 case) come through my office and not one of them has arrived scratched. Again, another great idea from Antec that shows they are willing to go the extra mile.

The front, top and side of the P182 are identical to the P180. The front has a sweet locking door and yet the USB and media ports are accessible with the door closed. The case has 1 small bay and four 5.25 bays. Considerably less than many full tower or server cases, but personally I've never needed more than 4.

Another one of the many cool features on the P182 are the 120mm fan filters. These filters push in and pop out for easy cleaning. I've lived much of my life in the dry deserts of the west and I can't tell you just how nice these filters are!

One of the most distinctive features of the P180 and P182 is the "blow hole" mod in the top of the case. You want cooling? The blow hole is one of the best cooling methods I've ever seen. Hot air rises, so it only makes perfect sense to put a vent in the top of the case. The nice screen fan guard is open on the back side so it helps shoot the hot air out the back, rather than straight up.

Antec cases are known for their nice finish and the P182 is no exception. The black gun metal finish gives this case a tough look and appears to be very durable.

At first the back of the P182 looks much like it's predecessor, but this is actually where you'll find the most noticeable changes. Antec has added 2 water cooling ports for external water coolers!

With Antec precision and style, the busy workshop elves have added these ports to please the extreme overclocker...namely our viewers! Nice going Antec...

The fun doesn't stop with water cooling ports. Antec has finally added external fan speed controls for the top and rear 120mm cooling fans! Yes!!! Thank you Antec!
