Crucial System Scanner

AeroCool, makers of some of the coolest front panel displays and system monitors available, has a new case hitting the market this month called the Zero° (Zero Degree). Targeted towards gamers and computer enthusiasts, this case has some fresh and innovative features that will take you by surprise. Some of the cool features include a HUGE 250 millimeter cooling fan mounted right on a professional looking window mod. The internal design of the case is also different than most standard ATX cases because the motherboard actually mounts on the left side of the case, not the right. This means the motherboard is mounted upside-down. AeroCool has dared to be different with the Zero Degree Case, but is the Zero Degree a good quality gaming case or just another box? Let's take a closer look and find out.

The AeroCool Zero° looks and feels like a well built case which does count for something in a world filled full of cheaply made products. Standing at 19" tall and about 20" long, the Zero° is larger than your average mid tower case, but not big to where I would consider it to be a classic "full tower". However, the Zero° has the storage capacity that one would associate with a full tower.

It's obvious that AeroCool was concentrating on making the Zero° the best cooled computer case they have to offer with a gigantic 250mm cooling fan. The fan is a bit noisy, but it is a low speed fan and emits a deep sounding hum that isn't ear piercing like small high speed cooling fans. Regardless, if you're looking for a silent case, the Zero° isn't going to win any awards in a silent case contest. Noisy or not, this fan has a rating of 133CFM and will do a great job of keeping the system cool, especially systems with one or more high end video cards.
