AeroCool Spiral
Galaxies Case

Everyone
seems to have a custom case these days. The PC enthusiast can choose
from a playful bright color case trimmed with plastic and glass or an
aluminum marvel with more lights and fans than a Christmas tree.
Speaking of Christmas, this year I've been blessed with a new case from
AeroCool called the Spiral Galaxies...
The AeroCool Spiral Galaxies case is all business. Right out of
the box, the Spiral Galaxies case oozes quality. The simple look
immediately reminded me of a high end server case and every step of the
build reinforced the feeling of solid dependability. AeroCool has
chosen a non traditional layout inverting the power supply location to
the top of the case. This results in the window location on the
right rather than the normal left.

The power supply sits snugly in the top between three rubber shock
absorbers. The location is no accident, with the PS installed
right above the hard drive bays; the PS exhaust creates an airflow path
that cools the drives without the need for an additional hard drive
cooler. The bays are honeycombed with patterns of holes to direct
airflow. This same honeycomb design is carried through the entire
case providing high airflow to every part of the case. A system of
locking rails allows the drives to install quickly with no tools needed
for most components.
