Pre-Installation:
One of the major reasons to consider
the GT3 for your Small Form Factor (SFF) build is its ability to use
full size components like your ATX motherboard or your full size Video
and PCI cards. However some planning is required to get the most
out of your GT3 case. The GTR website offers this handy checklist
to get you started:

A handy list of known compatible
motherboards can be found
here. More cards are being added as they are tested but
straying from the list can be a show stopper.
Inside the GT3:
Now that you have your compatible build
mapped out, lets take a look at the unique design that makes a full size
ATX build possible in this tiny case.

Opening the GT3 is as simple as lifting
the handle and removing two screws from the back. The cover slides
back and up to reveal the insides. From the top we have the Fotron
FSP350-60MB power supply, the drive cage, a support beam, and across the
bottom we have the card cage module.

With the bottom cage removed we get a
good look at the space available to the motherboard. The two front
fans are positioned to provide airflow over the cards via the 92mm fan
and drives while still moving air towards the rear exhaust venting with
the top 80mm fan.

This close-up of the 80mm fan shows how
the fan is angles to blow across the drive bays and towards the CPU.
The Users Guide recommends routing the cabling around the top of the fan
to help keep the air path unobstructed.

The bottom 92mm fan sits behind the
card cage mounting. Cables can be run both under the fan and in
front of the mounting bracket along the back of the motherboard.
Cable management is critical in making the limited space work
efficiently and will make up the bulk of the extra install time needed.

Looking at the back of the chassis you
can see that in addition to the two front fans, up to four smaller
(40mm) fans can be mounted in the back exhaust venting. Although a
window option is not currently available, the black anodized finish is
continued on the inside as well.
