If your power supply already has a
shielded VGA/HDD cable, I still recommend getting a set of these for your hard
drives. Shield the power going to your RAID array.

Conclusion
The only real down side to the cables is they are
considerably stiffer than the normal power supply cable. I'm not going to
count that against the cable though. The cable is going to be stiffer
because it has the copper shielding built into it. Besides who wants to
hide these cables anyway, they look nice. The cables are easily worth the
$14 price at Newegg, making these cables an outstanding value. The OCZ
cables are just what you need for your new video card or hard drive. If you
want to postpone getting that new power supply, but still want shielded cables
these are for you. Even if you have a new power supply, most only come with one
shielded cable. You are supposed to decide which component gets the cleaner
power. Maybe you have just bought that new nvidia 6800 Ultra. That thing
requires two power cables. Are you just supposed to shield one side? I may
just pick up another package of these and shield all of my drives. At $14.00
it's hard to beat.
