Sapphire HD4890 1GB Atomic PCI-e Video Card
Last week, we had a nice close look at Sapphire's overclocked HD4890, known as the Toxic Edition.  This week, we are taking it a step further with the Sapphire Atomic Edition.  For those not familiar with the Atomic Editions, this is the cream of the crop for Sapphire cards.  The Atomic editions have the highest clocks, the best cooling and the best bundles.  They also tend to be very limited production runs with a price that represents that scarcity.  The 4870X2 Atomic edition we reviewed last December was an absolute treat of a GPU, and a product that was both rare and impressive.  Will the HD4890 Atomic Edition live up to this rare pedigree? Find out, right here at Club Overclocker!

Over the years we've seen NAS devices slowly take the place of file servers. We've seen quite a few NAS devices in recent years, but most of them have been single or dual hard drive units designed for home use or very small businesses. The Seagate BlackArmor NAS we have before us today takes the NAS to the next level. The BlackArmor is a complete, stand alone, 4-bay RAID NAS, designed for small businesses with up to 50 workstations. Tired of that file server taking up an entire desk? The BlackArmor is only about 8 inches tall and is completely self contained. I'm all about clearing out clutter and the Black Armor may be the perfect replacement for my bulky and very loud, full tower file server. Let's have a look at the Seagate Black Armor NAS 440 and see what it's all about.

Sapphire HD4890 1GB Toxic PCI-e Video Card
The last few months have been very exciting here at the Club, especially in the world of graphics cards.  Since the beginning of April, we have had the pleasure of not only looking at the performance of the brand new RV790 based HD4890s, which have since taken the world by storm.  Of course, it was only a matter of time before the non-reference OC editions of the 4890 started making their way into the market; and as usual Sapphire is at the forefront with a wide selection of different cards to choose from.

In fact, Sapphire has unleashed three new 4890 editions:

 - The Vapor-X edition, clocked at 870MHz and priced at $229

 - The Toxic edition, clocked at 960MHz, and priced at $259

 - The Atomic edition, clocked at 1GHz, and priced at $299

Fortunately for us, Sapphire has enough kindness in their hearts to send us both the Toxic and Atomic editions to take a look; today we will be taking an in-depth look at the Toxic edition. Read about it, right here at ClubOC!

There is no doubt the SCS3 HD 4650 will perform silently thanks to the passive cooling but with the tagline "Mesmerizing 3D Graphics for True Gamers" right on the box, we will see if their HD4650 has what it takes to please the gamers as well.  With a street price under $70, this may just be the budget HD card you have been looking for.
